June 11th - June 16th(:

So this week was spent visiting my mom and siblings, going to band practice, doing more house papers, going to a baseball game, swimming, and celebrating Father's Day!!!

One day I went to my mom's house just to visit and hang out while Dakota went to work.  We decided to go to the river and hang out down there because it was SO hot!  When we got back my little brother, Jax (in the picture), was pooped! So, he took a blanket from one of my sisters, got this ugly doll, and came and cuddled up with me to watch TV.  I love this little guy!

Oh! I also watched Safe Haven while I was there and it was amazing, I love it!  I'll have a post about Julianne Hough because she was adorable in that movie.

On Friday I went to my husband's band practice.  He started a band called The Newspeakers, and right now the are recording their demo and looking for shows. I go to a majority of the practices and I have been dubbed the band photographer.

You should check them out ---> www.facebook.com/TheNewspeakers

I went to my first actual baseball game on Saturday!!!  I had so much fun, my father-in-law and his girlfriend took me while Dakota was at work.  I loved it! I don't like watching sports on TV, I get bored quickly, but when you actually go you get the real experience.  And baseball is the sport I actually understand, so that was good! haha!

Sunday we went to the mountains, per my dad's request, to hike, fish, swim in the river, and just hang out.  I did not swim but my dad kept trying to drag me into the water.  It was fun!

After the mountains we went to my Grandma and Grandpa's to have lunch.

Then to our house to have dinner with Dakota's side of the family.

Good-bye for now! (:

Well, hello there!

For my first post on this wonderful new blog, I thought I'd give you a little introduction of myself and what is happening in my life right now!

Firstly, I am newly married! My husband and I tied the knot September 1, 2012.  We had a small wedding, well the smallest that we could have anyways, in a little town next to ours at an Iris garden.  We had a short, sweet, and to the point ceremony with most of our family and closest friends watching.  We had our reception at the same place we had the ceremony, so that was easy!  Some of my family members and I made basically all of the decorations, which I liked because it was was customized and personal.

My husband and I got married quite quickly!  We had only been together for about 2 months when he proposed and we got married 7 months after that.  Yes, we are young, we were both only 19 when we got married but neither of us wanted to spend our lives with anyone else.  Some people were a little peeved with our decision but we didn't care and now those people are completely supportive of us after seeing how in love we are.  I know, sappy! Haha sorry(:

Secondly, this lovely home will soon be ours!  We are in the last days of the escrow process and will be moving in within the next couple of weeks.  We are currently living with my father-in-law and his girlfriend, which is nice but I'm ready for us to have our own place.  Even though it's just the 2 of us, well  4 including our animals, we got a 3 bedroom home.  We planned this so we could have our bedroom, Dakota could have his office, and I could have my make-up/sewing/craft/office room hehe!  It has a giant backyard for our dog and BBQ's.  The yards do need a little fixing up but it will be perfect for us!

These are our animals!  Our cat's name is Alice, Dakota had her before I came into the picture so I adopted her as my own.  Willow is our dog's name, and one of my friends found her when she was a little puppy and couldn't keep her so we took her.  Willow is very energetic! She loves to run, play, & swim in the pool.  Alice on the other hand is very calm.  She mostly sleeps and lays around which I like because she is very cuddly, when she isn't grumpy.

Well I think that's enough of a little introduction! I'll be back soon! (:
